New Voter Day event on 5/18! Come meet your local electeds and learn what we can do for you.

Voting is the cornerstone of our democracy and it can be quite overwhelming if not armed with all the necessary information.  For this reason, I am hosting New Voter Day with U.S. Rep. David Trone, Councilmember Craig Rice, State Sen. Nancy King, and nonpartisan organizations.

I’m joining your representatives from other levels of state, local and federal government, to introduce ourselves and share what our responsibilities to you are. We have a duty to you as a voter and constituent to help address issues you might experience. This event will help clarify “who does what” and who to contact when you have a problem.

We will also be joined by the State Board of Elections and the League of Women of Voters to answer any questions about voting. They will also register anyone who wants to become a voter on the spot, so please bring your friends and family.
